Place Redcliffe Peninsula Takes on the 2026 Jetty 2 Jetty

Jetty 2 Jetty 2026 brought the Redcliffe Peninsula community together for another brilliant day of running, walking and local connection.

On Sunday, the Place Redcliffe Peninsula team swapped property appointments and open homes for running shoes as we joined thousands of locals and visitors at the 2026 Jetty 2 Jetty.

Our team participated across the 3km, 5km and 10km events, running, walking, skipping and doing whatever was needed to reach the finish line.

Held on Sunday, 19 July, this year’s Jetty 2 Jetty celebrated an incredible 40 years of one of Queensland’s longest-running and most scenic running events. The 2026 program included a marathon for the first time, alongside the half marathon, wheelchair 10km, 10km, 5km and 3km events.

For us, it was more than a team fitness challenge. It was an opportunity to support an iconic local event while enjoying the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula community we are proud to live, work and operate within.

Running Through the Heart of the Redcliffe Peninsula

The Jetty 2 Jetty gave our team another chance to appreciate the coastal lifestyle that makes this part of Moreton Bay so special.

From Clontarf and Woody Point through Margate, Redcliffe and towards Scarborough, participants were surrounded by waterfront paths, coastal parks, local landmarks and views across Moreton Bay.

These are the same communities our agents and property management team work within every day. Being able to experience them together, outside the office and alongside thousands of community members, made the occasion even more meaningful.

“I was so excited to see our team get behind Jetty 2 Jetty. Everyone chose a distance that suited them, supported each other and had plenty of fun along the way. It was a brilliant team day and a great opportunity to celebrate the Redcliffe Peninsula community we all care so much about.”

A Celebration of Community

Jetty 2 Jetty attracts everyone from experienced runners chasing personal bests to families, social walkers and community groups simply enjoying the atmosphere.

That mix of people is what makes the event so special. Whether someone was competing in the marathon or completing the 3km with friends, the sense of encouragement and community spirit could be felt throughout the day.

The official event program describes Jetty 2 Jetty as a celebration of accessibility, participation and connection, welcoming runners and walkers of different ages and abilities.

“It was great to see so many people out enjoying the day, encouraging one another and making the most of our local coastline. Events like this show how active, welcoming and connected the Moreton Bay community really is.”

Proud to Support the Community We Call Home

At Place Redcliffe Peninsula, community involvement means more than placing our logo on an event or watching from the sidelines.

It means showing up, participating and supporting the people, organisations and local events that make the Redcliffe Peninsula such a great place to live.

Our team works across Clontarf, Woody Point, Margate, Redcliffe, Scarborough, Newport and surrounding Moreton Bay suburbs, helping local homeowners, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants with their property journeys.

Events such as Jetty 2 Jetty allow us to connect with those communities in a completely different way and occasionally discover which team members may need a little more training before next year.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who participated and grateful to the organisers, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and spectators who helped bring the event to life.

There may have been a few tired legs on Monday morning, but there were also plenty of smiles, medals and stories to share.

Congratulations, Team Place. We made it across the finish line.
